Erika de Vasconcelos, A literary diva

Erika, a Montreal native, completed her education at McGill University. Her novel My Darling Dead Ones was published in 1997. In this book, she explores the lives of women in the Portuguese community in Canada. Additional published works include Between the Stillness and the Grove, as well as various publications featured in Toronto Life and This Magazine. Erika shares her literary talents by teaching creative writing at Humber College. Her work has been translated into several languages.
